Erin O'Toole is the proud Dean of Citizenship & Science Academy of Rochester, bringing a passion for education and a commitment to student success. Originally from Rhode Island, Ms. O'Toole earned dual bachelor's degrees in Biology and Secondary Education and a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) for K-12 education from the University of Rochester.
Ms. O'Toole began her journey with SANY in the spring of 2024 and has been an integral part of the Rochester educational community. Her career spans from teaching science to holding the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction role at Rochester Prep Brooks Campus. Her dedication to closing the educational opportunity gap, fostering student-led academic discourse, and promoting teamwork align perfectly with SANY's mission to build success one Atom at a time.
Ms. O'Toole enjoys outdoor adventures with her significant other and her dog, Johnny Cash, including rock climbing and hiking. She loves orange and navy blue, and her favorite number is 86,334.
